Hotels in Northern Israel

Known for its scenic view, crisp air, and history, Northern Israel is one of the most popular choices for vacation spots among tourists and visitors.  Northern Israel is nestled along the Mediterranean Sea and is full of mountains, rolling hills and valleys. The Scots Hotel

The Scots Hotel is located in Tiberias. The boutique hotel was formerly a hospital constructed by Dr. David Watt Torrance in 1894, and in 1959 the building became a guesthouse. However, the Church of Scotland wanted to open a hotel that focused on healing relationships via ministry, education and hospitality and in 2004 established Scots Hotels. Accommodations come with exposed brick walls, flat-screen televisions and high ceilings. The hotel offers body massages, a swimming pool and a visitor's center near the archaeological path. For dining needs, inside the David building sits the Torrance Restaurant. Other eateries in Tiberias are The Pagoda and Decks that serves kosher dishes.


The Golan Hotel

Less than a mile from the Sea of Galilee, the 98-room hotel features an outdoor pool, on-site health club, body treatments and a sauna. The on-site Panorama Restaurant serves kosher dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Other dining options within 10 miles include Vered HaGalil Restaurant and Guy Restaurant. In addition, you can order a light fare and various beverages at the Kinnert Lobby Lounge. Activities available in Galilee include kayaking in the Jordan River and horseback riding in the mountains. If you desire to sightsee, attractions in the city include the Mount of Beatitude and Capernaum.


Mizpe Hayamim Hotel

This exclusive organic hotel and spa is located in the Galilee. It is   a favorite choice for hotel in the north of Israel and a very popular choice among local and international tourists.
