However, the Church of Scotland wanted to open a hotel that focused on healing relationships via ministry, education and hospitality and in 2004 established Scots Hotels. Accommodations come with exposed brick walls, flat-screen televisions and high ceilings. The hotel offers body massages, a swimming pool and a visitor's center near the archaeological path. The Golan Hotel

Less than a mile from the Sea of Galilee, the 98-room hotel features an outdoor pool, on-site health club, body treatments and a sauna.
