Israel is the world’s number one country in medical devices patents and world leader in the research field of stem cell with over 29,000 medical trials in progress.
Steven Rhodes, CEO and chairman of Trendlines, an investment group focusing on bio-tech and agriculture, told Xinhua during a briefing to present three of the most innovative bio-tech companies in Israel that these companies’ achievements will improve the lives of millions of people around the world, especially a new Hepatitis B vaccine that has proven to be 100 percent effective.
“Despite 30
years of Hepatitis B vaccination, there are still a large number of carriers
all over the world,” Michal Ben Atar, CEO of Scigen, the company that has
developed the third generation vaccine called sci-B-Vac, told Xinhua.
